My mrs has formatted the xd card on her camera and took another 4 photo's on it. Problem is in doing so has wiped out about 200 holiday photo's in the process. Normally i know once data has been written to a newly formatted card the old data is lost for good, but i have to ask......
.....is there anyway at all the card data is retrievable or is it a lost cause?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Sean.

Yes their is still chance to recover all data if your drive is formatted. Now I explain you in detail. If the card is format for a 1 time the previews data would be recover in raw format. The window will not show any data on formatted card but we are able to recover 100% data using our advance software.

Hello Sean,
Yes it is possible to scan your card for lost data, and there is a big chance to get it back, even you have used the SD card after formatting it
