hi can some one please help i have a western digital usb external hard drive and i formatted it by accident i have not put any thing on the drive since, but i need to recover pictures now i have tried various softwares but i used one which recovered and made a folder on my p.c called 1 NTFS now the size of this folder is approx 175 gig which is approx the size of files i had on the drive before i formatted as i had a lot of nintendo dsi games on along with photos , in the ntfs file that it made is a series of folders and files folders called recycle bin lost files and raw files then with in them meta data file tfx log repair so on so forth now the question is what do i do to get the pictures i need as i dont understand the info in the NTFS folder do i need to run another program please help .

Hi,

You can try using some other software.
Most of the softwares come with free demo version to scan the drive and show recoverable data so you can other softwares and use the software which shows you exact file meta.

I agree with admin. But keep in mind don't overwrite data. Otherwise you will loss your data forever. And to get back your photos and data you can go for Stellar Data Recovery Services. They are the expert in data recovery services. And will provide you with proper assistance.
