A person from Chicago asked me this question. So, I’m publishing here in case it may be helpful for others.
I was wondering if someone can guide me through the time required for the data recovery. I have a laptop with 1.7 GHz Pentium processor and 40 GB hard disk. The disk drives are of 2.5 inches, but does it matter? Can you advise me any such site?

A. For the system with the specifications you’ve mentioned here, the data recovery will take less than from 4 to 8 hours. As, usually with 2.5 inch disk drives of laptop as you have mentioned that you have an average of 5-7 hours are taken and otherwise for larger drives like 3.5 inches, between 6 to 8 hours may be taken. It all depends if the HDD has bad sectors or not a clean working 2.5" 40 GB HDD could clone in less than 1 hour with HDD Duplicator tool
