there can be many safety precautions in order to safe your hard disk from damaging and also your data as well. But the basic out of these precautions are as follow:
•Try to use electric controller in order to check the flow of electricity to your pc and in this way will safe your hard disk from electric outages/surges.
•Do not drop your hard disk which will might result in physical damage to your hard disk storage media.
•Keep your hard disk away from fire. Keep away your hard
•Disk from dropping of water, moisture or from any other liquid material.
•Do not attach/detach your hard disk to your computer system when it is in running state.
