Hi,

I suffered two seek errors last night and consequently lost two partitions full of data, on separate disks. One I deleted the partition and created a new one on top, the other I left alone. I am now trying to get my data back. I have downloaded a bunch of tools, but none seem to work, and I can't afford to keep buying registration keys if there not going to do anything.

I have purchased Active Partition Recovery (the windows version), and have done a full scan on one of my disks which has located my partition that I deleted. I used the recover option to get it back, but it simply created or appeared to create an unformated partition that I can't access in windows. The other partition on the other disk has also been found, but after recover that hasn't even placed a drive icon in my computer.

I am very frustrated and don't know what to do. I can see my data within Partition Recovery, but I don't know how to access it, please can someone help me?
