Hey all,
Sorry, I posted this in Software Help before realizing that this forum might be more appropriate for my question.
Here's the predicament: Photographer's had 300-400GB of photos on 1 TB external hdd. Drive tips over and then reads as unallocated space. Ran photo rec on the drive which found 400GB+ of data so all is good until I look at the data. Most of the recovered data consists of two enormous files: a 262GB .rw2 file (which I found out is associated with RAW format on panasonic cameras - although she uses a Canon) and a 175GB .db file. Could these two monster files hold the rest of her missing pictures? How could I get in them? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Canon camera raw photo formats are CR2 and CRW.
You should use any recovery software which recover raw CR2/CRW file formats.
