Hello,
My co-woker (rather ex-coworker) has erased everything on my USB drive. Thanks to the help of your site and some other ones I was able to find some software to restore the deleted files.
There is one problem however...
The pictures that I had on my stick have been restored fine, but the .doc files are completley corrupt. I cannot open a single Word document As i consitantly get jibberish. All my files are turned into something that looks like this:
~M0G~ ӔL5;EKGN ֜8F; ֞30i
1?Rn
ULqU WMʻ+9+ʒ !e 0_ʪ
s4-N qYWPy2 8j"5` >_ >pGp\WQ>Mn n> p#RcnF;3YNN 3X%8l O D| SM]u ֹX $ NzkyŵъE,V 7pr j>omZpm=UK\
g=Snɂ< j״9 `,v& -L!ҳSW
t6Mj e
I have tried converting it into Unicode, ASCII, and all other types of formats but nothing helps.
If anyone has insight into this or can direct me to a company that may process my documents for me, I'd greatly appriciate it.
Additional Information:
To recover the Files I have used the following Programs:
O&O Disk Recovery
Ontrack Easy REcovery Professional
Partitioon Table Doctor
R-Studio
TestDisk
