My old computer dies, but the old drive in it is still working. So I put the old drive into another computer(As slave) so I can get all my old files.
The only problem is that my XP account was password protected and when I try to access "drive:\Documents And Settings\User", I get the, message "Access denied". Surprised

I tried booting from the old drive but was unsuccessful due to what I imagine are some incompatability issues between the old drive and new computer.

I really need some of those documents. Is there any way to recover them??
