Hi, I am new to this Forum so hello everyone, I am hoping someone may be able to help me out here.

I have 2 harddrives in my Sony Vaio in a RAID0 configuration and one of them has errors so now Vista won't even start so I have decided to replace the pair with larger drives.

I have some backed up data but I want to attempt to remove some data I failed to backup but I presume I need to connect the pair to a desktop machine and run some recovery software.

Is it possible to do this, to have 2 harddrives running RAID alongside a normal drive?

Is there a standard way to accomplish this task?

Any suggestions for a moderately priced recovery program that would do a RAID drive?
If anyone can help out here or point me in the direction of some information that would help, I would gratefully appreciate it.
