Hi all, after browsing the internet for tools I noticed a few created by Xabersoft. Tihis is my first time reviewing software so I hope I get it right. They seem mostly law enforcement orented but may be useful for data recovery utilites. They have a Carver program that can recover files from raw freespace of defective drives. Its worth taking a look at.

There is also a File Hash Compairison program to sort through the junk...

The programs are alot cheeper than most commercial products. I was able to sucessfully reover pictures off my bad SD card. with the Imager and Carver apps. I like it.

Over all I Like this package for dying Hard Drives and bad media, However I wish it had the capability to just look for deleted files rather than imaging the whole Device. Its a very flexible application and I look forwared to seeing more great software from this Company.
I would give it 3 out of 5 stars for the reason I mentioned above.[/url]
