It seems that the file in C: has been overwritten.
You can give try to recover file from D:
As Operating system drive is used by operating system randomly to write data, so there are chances the file be overwritten but if you havnt used D: the other partition then you can recover data from D: irrespective of the the fact that you have formatted D: or not.

Does G mail have a "forgotten password" link? if so try that before trying a recovery.
Also if you use FTK imager it will give you a tree of your files and at the bottom of the tree it has files with an X on them. This means it has been deleted but it can still see the file. Simply right click on your file and select a target to save the file you have deleted...provided it appears in the tree. It also helps to repair damaged files so it just may do the trick.
good luck!

it is not possible that your c drive is corrupted and you can start your windows.
because the boot files are always save in c drive.
it can b a virus infection.
try to open it from address bar. not from double clicking.
if it opens save all data in other .
media.
if not use different computer install tune up utillity 2007.
connect your media (hard disk) on that pc.
recover your data from recovery option.
but i think your hard disk is not corupted... |
