Jesus Christ I feel more sick than I have ever felt in my life

I Had 2 hard drives - upgraded my computer - and accidentally used my 300gig HD with 4 years worth of university work amongst numerous other crucially important life things for a new format and windows install.

What are my chances of getting any of this data back and functional? (including .avi files and such).

Please someone reply quickly I need to know whether or not to spark up a bit and hold on to hope or move from absolute devastated physical sick feeling to smashing my entire house apart in the next healthy recovery step of ultimate rage

Just relax. Your data can be recovered. But the chance of lost some of your data is always exists.
