NTFS is a file system that present recital, safety, dependability, and superior features that not available in early version of file system like FAT16, FAT32 etc.
NTFS uses typical transaction logging and recovery techniques for volume consistency of data. In case of operating system failure NTFS has the capability to recover and restore the consistency of file system by using its log file procedure and checkpoint information.
