My virtual PC (VirtualBox) cut corrupted so I had to create a new one. After that it did not see the data on my data HD (vdi file) anymore. Unfortunately, I did go into disk management and initialized the HD thinking then I will see it in the system and can use a recovery tool. Well, it seems that initializing a HD (not it shows as Unallocated) did more harm than good. Where do I go from here to get my data back? What does the initialize do anyways?
