I was recording something important on my cam when i dropped it, it shut off and didn't finish writing the file properly, though the data is there(it shows 27min of video was recorded) the actual video file is 0 bytes in size and not viewable.
I've tried a few different recovery programs and none have worked so far
what type of DR software do I need to try? or some other way to fix it?
Thanks!

Hi,
well, all the memory card and cam's have fat file system
you will need to use software which can recover data from fat.
I will recommend to you Geeksnerds Data Recovery Software.
Just scan the cam using this software, check file size after scanning, it the data is there, the software will show size of file, verify the file size and recover it. and if the software does not show valid size of file then It is also possible that the cam has your video in its temp memory, try any recovery utility which comes with cam. It is due to the reason that all came after recording, stream the video in their temp memory and afterward write it, so better check any utility that the cam company has given.
