Can someone pls advise a software program to recover data from an
accidentally erased external HDD?

i had a same scenario. Data Recovery is sensitive procedure and need specialist supervison. Software program can damage without any proper supervision. i sugguest you to get assistance from some data recovery company like www.optimumrecovery.com
