I would be extremelly thankful if somebody can help me. Here is my problem. I helped my friend in formatting his hard drive. I copied all his data (pictuers, music) on my disc and then formatted his hard drive. Then after i was done I ciped his data back on hid HD and deleted the wo folder under which the data was stored, from my HD. The thing is, He had some trouble with his windows again so I used restore discs given to my friend by the compuer manufacturer (emachines) I didint know that those CD's will resore the whole computer to the original look (like it was new) I didint back up files being sure that Im formatting only one partition. Well.. It came out that I formatted the entire Hard drive. No pictures, no nothing left.
Now my question is: Is it possible that I can recover his data that was sored on my Hard drive and deleted about one week ago?? (i have to add the fact that since I deleted this folder from my Hard drive I've been installing some other software as well as downloading other data on the same hard drive -might have covered it)What else can I do?? What should I use. What chance do I have of revovering this data??
I really need help. I'm desperate and my friend is very mad at me for losing all his pictures he had.
PLEASE HELP!!!

hmmm ... seems like sever problem ... don't panic firstly ..... secondly I'm afraid Professional help is needed here .... !
Data technicians can guide you exactly what to do ... ur OS may have lost track but dont worry ... just dont write anything ovver at the moment dont install anything new and your friend should just go to his local data recovery service provider ....and get professional help!!!!!
