Hello Every one,nice to know you all.

recently, i have a problem with my Hard disk(for PC). At first, my Hard disk is not detected anymore(the message in DOS told me to install the proper device), but i try to find the problem in BIOS. I see the first problem that my CD ROM drive also not detectable on BIOS.So i assume that problem comes from cable (IDE Jumpeer, power supply cable,etc).. and i reattached all cable that connecting the hard disk to motherboard and power suppy, and gladly,after i turn it on, its able logging to window again and i could use it without any problem (never hang, and not reduce its performance in writing/loading program).

But its happen several times, and i do the same things(reattach cable,etc), and i use without any problem (never hang, and not reduce its performance in writing/loading program).

But in the end, it wasnt detected anymore and makes me afraid of losing data. For now, my hardisk condition, i hav try to attached to other hardrive (makes mine be a slave) and instead of logging to windows, my hardisk makes the primary hardisk not able to login to windows (stop at bios), the primary hardisk is detected, but the ALL CD rom is not detected.

as i recalled, i once hit the cPU (accidentally) and makes the CPU moves around for few centimetre. Is it the main cause?

Do you hav any idea what can ido?Now, evrytime its connected to CPU, i heard low noise (click) every time its spinning. And if i shake it vertically (just like nodding) i heard sound just like there is tiny screw/or component that separated from its place. And when i shake it horizontally, i heard sound just like spinning things.

Do you think its is circumstances,i am able to recover data in hardisk?

I regret that i dont back up it while still accessable. Wrong guess from the start(assume cable was the problem).

For your info, my hard disk is Seagate baracudda 7200.7,IDE type, ST3400014A, firm ware 3.04, Sidearm : AMK. and its about 5 1/2 years use and with WINDOW XP SP 2.
