Ok, so I've got one for you all. My laptops hdd (sata thank god) crashed on me the otherday, and is now exhibiting read/write/speed/every other error you could think of. Can not boot into windows period. However my desktop does detect the laptops hdd when i plug it in as a slave and i can see all the data.
This is where it gets difficult.
When i try and copy my data off of the laptop drive onto my desktop pc's drive, it gets data redundancy errors, even when running a copy command in DOS, obviously because the drive is having read errors. I was wondering if there was some program that would bypass the redundancy check that windows uses and allow me to copy over the files, even corrupted.
Thank you all!
Mike
