I just wanted to leave this post to praise Computer based Associates. I am a writer. The information on my hard drive is extremely valuable to me. I had year of writing contained within my macbook when the hard drive decided to fry itself. This writing was my lifes work. Sure i had some of it backup up inside an external hard drive, but i do alot of writing daily and i hadnt backed up in about two weeks. I lost over a hundred pages of writing. So i take it to the apple store and they tell me they cant do anything because i am out of warranty and they would charge me over a thousand dollars to replace the hard drive but i would lose all my data. So i leave the store furious not willing to pay so much if they cant even restore the information. I go home and i looked all over the net for a data recovery company. Most wouldnt work with macs so i thought my writing would be gone forever. Then i found computer based associates. From the moment i called them they put me at ease about my fried hard drive. They told me the price which was more than reasonable considering i has a deadline with my publisher i had to meet, and i would be losing much more than that if i missed it. So i sent them my computer and five days later they call me to tell me all my data was recovered. Thank you computer based associates you guys are life savers.

To be the great company is to make the customer satisfied in their services. When my HDD failed I considered buying new and more expensive ‘improved’ software, but knew I could risk doing damage to my HDD. The fault was mechanical, and software is not always the best idea. I decided to go to fields data recovery. I have used them before, but as a last resort, because trust you me, professional data recovery is expensive. But they get your data back quickly and without fuss. I recommend them for severe HDD problems.
