I have 500gb SATA with two partition 495 and 5 Gb. I mereged the both partition with PARTITION MAGIC 8.0. now the merged partition is not opening. It doesnt shows on my computer. If i assign Drive Letter, den it shows the drive in my computer but whn i try to open it it say, DRIVE is not accesible. Access Denied.. Kindly help me as thr is my 250GB data. its very important. Partition is NTFS

Don't play with the partitions anymore, simply image the drive and run some data recovery software over the image. You should get most of it back in good shape.

For ideas on how to image and what software to use see other threads in this forum.

Another option is to clone the drive, then on cloned copy, use any software which gives RAW recovery. but you will definitely get your data back.
