Hi Netrate,

You should save the ROM information from the failed PCB, then upload it to the donor ROM. Because the ROM information is the exclusive on diffierent drives.

If there is no problem in the swift PCB, maybe there is something wrong with the firmware of your failed Seagate Hard Drives. In this situation, you should use some professional tools to get the data back or send the failed hard drives to specifical data recovery company!

Hi

Jessie is correct, assuming the PCB is the cause of the fault.

More often than not the ROM does need to be copied over or transferred physically. Even if the f/w is the same.
