I am using Windows XP.I formatted my D:drive now when i open my d drive it show some data files and i am not able to delete them. Plz. Help me.

Maybe the drive is encrypted without you knowing it. If it is xp professional and there was encryption on it the file or data on it may be of a green or blue color, that means it was encrypted.

if the data is not important maybe you can reformat the drive!
