Hello All,

Through a series of "goof-ups" on my part, I have rendered a hard-drive unreadable with an accidental partition re-size and then an accidental "Quick Format" on top of that.
I have found several Raw Data Software solutions, that claim to be free, that can actually show me a lot of recoverable files, but will not allow me to collect any of the files until a sizeable fee is paid.
I realized upon re-installing my os on another drive, that I had accidentally missed some 12 to 15 pictures from my kids most recent visit in my most recent back-up.
While I would really like to have them back ....... I simply can't afford the $60 to $80 most are charging. I even found one software that would send you a "1 MB" recovery authorization for trial purposes but the pics are about 1.5 MB or I'd just do that 12 to 15 times.
Anyway ........... does anyone out there know of anywhere I can get a truly free raw recovery tool? I mean REALLY FREE.
It just seems to me like there would be someone out there in cyberspace who would have taken the time to post this kind of a service software ............ instead of all the Geeks out there spending the time and their smarts in their basements to create "Evil" and "Bloatware" software.
I appreciate your time reading this.

Happy Holidays,

Jeff
